The Thunderdome is a premium container-mounted shelter system offered by Shelter Station. It mounts to the outboard sides of standard shipping containers, transforming a container pair into a fully weatherproof, high-clearance storage or work space. The structure is engineered to comply with wind-load standard AS/NZ 1170.2 (Wind Region C, up to 249 km/h), offering strong protection and durability.
With a galvanised single-tube steel frame and a heavy-duty 610 gsm PVC cover, Thunderdome shelters are designed to deliver long-term weather resistance, rain runoff (via an integrated rainskirt), and increased usable height — both inside the shelter and atop the container roof.
Optional end-panels are available, giving you the flexibility to fully enclose the space for security and additional environmental protection.
